Almost a year ago when we were happily living our lives, something strange happened. A 27-year-old girl was making some life-changing plans of settling down, having a home of her own. She had made some promises to herself and she was planning to fulfill those promises. Little did she know that's all about to change.

You know, someone has rightly said, “ Life is what happens to you when you are busy making plans.” There was news of some fancy virus spreading among humans of China. “Oh, it's so sad to hear that. I pray that people get well soon. I pray that nobody loses their loved ones.”, that's what her first thought was. But she knew that she was scared. It was the fear of losing people she loves so dearly. What if it was her, going through all that pain, the mere thought of it would drive her crazy. Was she wrong to be scared? This fancy virus spread so fast that the entire world did not get any time to get battle-ready and therefore the inevitable happened. It became national news that a deadly virus has entered the country and the whole country will go into an immediate lockdown.

The lockdown came with a lot of emotions. Our generation and even our parent’s generation hadn’t seen anything like this before. It was a roller coaster ride with its own sets of ups and downs. It started with coming into terms with the reality of the new ways of living and the biggest change- working from home. While it was interesting in the beginning, slowly the boon of WFH started showing its true colors. From working till late in the night to waking up late just in time, it took some time to adjust to the “New Normal”.
